And the timing on that gif was lined up so perfectly that I must have watched it for several minutes before realizing that it was looping.

1st try, deathless, blindfolded turbo tunnel in a marathon. This is insane.

This. It’s amazing what sort of wonders having an active dev team can do for a game, even adding little things like this that show they are paying attention to the community’s stories go a long way to build that community.

One important thing to add is that this is the first time TMR has done both - blindfolded and deathless - in a run. He’s done one, and the other, but never both at the same time.

TMR also beat Battletoads (NES) with a perfect run (no hits, no deaths, no warps) this week.

This is incredible. I know that EPIC has a huge team on Fortnite at this point, with tons of money to throw at basically whatever they want, but I still wish all game studios could be this involved in their communities.

I don’t play this game (or any battle royale one for that matter), but this story shows how much the developer does to keep it interesting for their players.

The Steam page has been updated with the date, so it looks like it’s coming out the same day on PC.

They’re only suing the operator, who had a monthly sub and ads that likely gave him a profit over operating costs... Also direct hosting is pretty stupid on his part as well.

The website had a monthly sub for unlimited download speeds and the like. So he definitely made money from that, alone.

This is wonderful, and I’m going to add the whole thing to the post because it’s so helpful. Thanks!

From the TorrentFreak article on this:

The $72,000 was for the original art. The card was included as a bonus, and can be found for $200-$350, which is middle of the road for a Reserved List card from Arabian Nights. Bazaar of Baghdad or Library of Alexandria are $1000+ cards, and even awful cards like Sandals of Abdallah will command $20.

Might be worth expanding on that small “dubious distinction” tidbit some.

It’s easy making puns on Kotaku cause everybody gets the joke. It can be gruuling on other sites cause the audience is dimir.

“And hey, who doesn’t love weird experiments?”

In case you’re wondering, the software he’s using is Clip Studio Paint (previously known as Manga Studio). It allows you to import 3D models and pose them for reference like you see at 5:44.

I ditched Photoshop for CSP and Affinity Photo when CC came out and haven’t looked back.

He’s also using a super old Intuos

Nintendo haters always gonna hate on Nintendo, but any other company they’d make a big announcement about this weeks beforehand and charge 3.99 for it.

Wooo-ooooo
