It’s a lot less offensive way of making money then shoving auto-play video’s in someone’s face and then complaining when the ads are blocked.

X4 is still my favorite of the games. The conflict was so gray. It was the game that made me realize that the Maverick Hunters were just the strong arm gestapo-like organization that humans used to shut down any Reploids that dared resist them. Or at least, that potential was clearly there. I felt pretty dirty taking

Notice a certain game isn’t on that list.

The proportions (and often poses) in this game have somehow managed to out-Liefeld Rob Liefeld. That’s kind of impressive.

I’d like to see a concept artist’s drawing of that dude in armor without the armor. His shoulders must be double wide or his arms must be extra long or both. Either way, his proportions must be freakish.

ID Tech is far more scalable than most game engines. Doom can run on some pretty pathetic PCs.

maybe Blizzard should use their status as an “industry leader” to make that uphill battle happen

I’m not even into fallout but this is the last thing I want out of a Wiki. Its why I can’t stand going to IGN for game news. If you just want a few pieces of information- a video takes way too long. At least for me, 90% of what I look up on the Web can be solved with a little text and/or images. If I want a

I’m guessing they made the business decision that they needed to get the SNES classic out in a specific window. There’s a lot of marketing research that goes into when to launch products. And as far as splitting manufacturing between the NES and SNES Classic, my guess would be they opted to not do that thinking that

Nintendo makes non-sensical decisions all the time.

Yeah but, uh, this company is Nintendo.

The reason given for the original scarcity of the NES classic (considering it like the sales of other retro console plug’n’plays) does make sense. Given the sales of previous Sega versions for instance. Nintendo just kinda failed to realize how much impact nostalgia has on a lot of us. Totally agree on the extra

One requires work and know-how. The other is cute and ready to use out of the box (which is itself a cute throwback to original packaging). And official. Not that hard to explain.

No big secret to be honest.

There’s absolutely nothing Scary about what the Firewatch devs have done. This isn’t “we’re gonna randomly and unexpectedly take down your shit if we don’t like you or your politics!”

$$$ > Power and Responsibility as Adults

It says a lot to me that the majority of people upset by this seem more concerned with the possibility of losing money through loss of revenues than any social concerns. I’m done with Youtube.

I don’t know, as far as I can tell Islam is generally the only religion that’s notably intolerant of images of their “deity” being used for fun. (or, AFAIK, any other way)
