Can we get a BotW 2D fighting game now that’s not Smash?
I see this combo, and I’m visualizing MvC/Guilty Gear Strive/DB FighterZ combo levels. Might as well throw in “Over 9000" while I’m at it.

Good call on the isekai angle. I was beginning to think that would be the only plausible explanation for the main characters starting in normal clothes.
Dropping canary information isn’t a new technique. I have read news stories of other companies who have tried to do that.
It’s very possible Nintendo isn’t that sophisticated about using canary information, since they are very conservative in their business dealings. However, it was also strange that a few reputable…
Besides the already stated chip shortages, pandemic, and “no rush attitude” from record profits by others, Nintendo may also have planted canary rumors to detect leakers.
I doubt Nintendo would re-release the DS games in a new collection, since they went through the effort to produce new assets for this 1+2 release. If this reboot game does well, as you said, Nintendo can use the assets and knowledge to remaster Dual Strike and Days of Ruin or make a new entry.
Or, if it doesn’t do…
That’s probably the case, since each E.M.M.I. robots Nintendo showed at the Treehouse demo seemed a little different from each other.
In my original post, I was answering Jilkon’s post, but I was thinking that the Omega Cannon will probably become permanent at the end of the game in a final boss fight, much like in…
Metroid Fusion’s linearity was probably the most prevalent criticism for the game. The game’s cutscenes kept pushing Samus into new sections of the map. You don’t get freedom of exploration until the last quarter of the game. I didn’t play Other M, but I heard the same criticism for it.
The initial events take place 2 years after BotW, but nothing in this trailer would prove definitively that we’re still in that time. Again, it’s speculation on my part.
Total speculation:
1) Link travels to Hyrule 10,000 years in the past
2) We’re watching a different Link 10,000 years in the past though some kind of “Assassin’s Creed” Animus artifact
Mushihimesama got a separate announcement trailer in English. It looks like Nintendo didn’t feel it was mainstream enough to include in the English Direct itself.
In the Treehouse video afterwards where they demo the game, Samus acquires a temporary weapon called the Omega Cannon. It only works once against a scripted E.M.M.I., but it’ll probably factor in later in the game.
Great, so the Galactic Federation were running Black Ops projects.
Also, since BotW’s map has locations based on past Zelda games and characters, there will probably be a “Skyloft” location on BotW 2's map.
It looks like Link is returning to the land as it was 10,000 years ago.
Maybe Metroid Dread originally was something else Sakamoto had in mind that didn’t pan out with the Wii tech at the time. Since Other M was not received well, Nintendo may have gone back to the drawing board and made Metroid Dread what it is today.
This is finally canon now, despite Retro Studio’s denial at the time.
No, Metroid Dread was supposed to be the sequel to Metroid Fusion, but it didn’t get released. It appears Nintendo went back to the title and did work on it for release now.
The house building engine in this game might compete with architectural software. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of those reality TV shows on house renovation license this game’s engine.
My longshot bet: Fire Emblem Warriors - Three Houses Edition.
Koei already has the game engine technology from doing Fire Emblem Three Houses and Age of Calamity, so it would be within their capabilities to update that franchise.
Now, say all those “Chaos” words in your article using Skylander’s Khaos’s voice (actor Richard Steven Horvitz).
There are three organized formats.
1) Unlimited: You can use any cards. Nothing is banned. But, this format is not used anymore.
2) Expanded: You can use cards from Black & White to the current set. There is a list of banned cards.
3) Standard: You can use cards from sets within a set time period (about 2 years of the…
