I guess that this E3 I’m struck by how much most of the excitement and titles available are soooo many franchises. Some older than others, but the amount of new IP, and the excitement it generated were few and far between to me.

The thing about MGS is that it often goes over the top and absurd. Though at the same time it is very tame compared to most anime it seems to take cues from. It’s not for everyone, but I have a lot of fun with it.

The Weapon crafting seems like a monster in it’s own right. 50 base weapons is a LOT if you think about the crafting options you have. I hope weapon weight plays a part.

People are gonna complain no matter what. It bugs me too but do your best to tune them out, they mean nothing. They’ll be sitting here whining on a game site while we’ll be playing Doom!!!

I agree, and given how much effort and attention the devs put into the first game I’d be surprised if they didn’t do that. I’m kind of hoping that Emily is given mostly new powers, and most of Corvo’s powers remain the same and get better in this game.

The levels of expectations for Doom are pretty much unrealistic just like the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchises. To these three the minimum quality requirements have always been perfection and any deviation to the norm polarizes the fanbase.

There's no where or any word that says GT isn't canon. It wasn't a popular series but it still has not been eliminated. There is no reason to as of right now and super takes place right after z. GT is more that 10 years after Z. There is a lot that can fit in that time period.

I guess they’re referencing some kinda pansexuality so they can justify Quinn being with multiple people. It makes sense with the character, but I guess we’ll see how they use it for the story.
