I know auto-levels and coasters are kind of to be expected (look at Little Big Planet! Most of the most popular stages are coasters or auto-levels), but they just strike a chord in me. Rube Goldberg machines just will never get old for me.

When scores are there, it is hard not to aim for it. Also there are achievements/trophies to get to and some aspects such as the Butterfly Emblem could be missable if you are not careful.

That’s what I actually like about it though. I think for Metal Gear, that kind of crazy weapons tech and sound suppression makes sense for it. I think the sound difference between a loud gun and quiet infiltration will probably be too much for the sound balance in stealth games.

I actually like how the CoD weapons feel, as far as silenced, low sound weapons go. Looks like even stuff like Metal Gear games could get in on that type of gun.

Really interesting, but I’m definitely glad they went with the look they did. The DKC CGI art is pretty iconic in the days of 90s gaming which was already filled to the brim with iconic gaming imagery

Excellent and sudden unveil, but I hope this isn’t the standard for Nintendo from now on. The E3 of this year could have used a Pikmin 4 news to spice up its mediocre digital event showing. This game pretty much is guaranteed to become an eSports mainstay at the rate the playerbase is growing. I feel it hasn't even come close to its full audience size yet. People are still discovering it!

There’s always bad apples to be sure, but gross misgeneralizations and using entire fandoms as scapegoats is really out of hand. I don’t think a 15 year old is a good judge of character. I hope he has a good 20 years or so of career left in him. Also, it’s not like he is the only person leaving Konami as a huge majority of his development team is leaving. So there’s a chance they could make a spiritual successor of Metal Gear and more of Kojima’s pet projects he wanted to do.

You never know precisely why Konami got rid of Kojima without actual reasoning behind it. But I do hope they can come around to the fact they have a stable of really powerful franchises and don’t throw the all away to Pachinko.

Should be great, considering this game looks quite adorable. It should be a nice mix of sexy and cute and it has been a long fight for visual novel and eroge fans to be more accepted in the broader gaming culture.
