Not for me. I play these games openly and proudly. And I only make Steam friends who are cool about it and open minded enough to accept that.

I hear some foreign versions might have been censored.
At least she’s not nude all the time like she used to be in the anime.
She kind of looks clowny so I can understand that. But I think that silliness is a part of her wacky charm though. At least better than a yet another half-naked muscly man. The game is getting flooded with male characters as-is.
True! Makes me wish more nations that enjoy anime can fund them more directly the way Italy did for this show. Anime creators are hurting for money to make shows, so this kind of direct funding is big.
That’s kind of the overtures that makes up pro wrestling outfits though.
I rather adore Joshi Puroresu and love she represents an erotic side to Street Fighter. She also isn’t the same kind of joke character like Dan in that Zangief has acknowledged Mika as someone who might be stronger than he is as a wrestler.
I respectfully disagree that Mika’s costume is impractical. Her outfit pretty much is standard Josh puroresu wear and they are often tight/erotic. In the world of the wacky cast of characters in Street Fighter, I think Mika is actually fairly grounded design wise. Compared to characters wearing street clothes or…
The good old power of major budget + a lot of time to work on a show!
I like to see a good mix of hell levels and balanced levels. Maybe even having better tags to denote which stages play like Kaizo Mario and which ones are more in line with what we expect out of Nintendo designed stages. The expert-path does show the diabolical stages as of now and I think it works well. But maybe…
I don't see how that makes sense at all. The studio is known to make over the top shows and it is even funded by a figurine company and they aren't mincing any words on this being a parody show. It's nothing to get outraged about or even correlate some kind of real life issues onto. The fans know what they are…
I’d say yes. They do make a ton of references to gaming cliches too and not just the fanservice.
I don’t think the girls are really victimized really. The joke is that the girls are basically the ones victimizing everyone else and they’re getting just deserts whenever they push things too far. Also, nothing is really serious in this show, so it’s really hard to say who is actually being victimized. They’re…
The show does make a lot of meta jokes about the skimpy outfits actually. And I don’t think the premise is to go for high brow humor anyway, so I don’t really understand the complaints there.
