The whole ‘Two sides that eventually come together due to the true evil” has been done in stuff like Suikoden 3 and I think it kind of made all the struggle between factions almost moot and I really hope they steer the game away from that.

That could work wonderfully, I think. Imagine it being a way for them to even explore science fiction worlds that way. They can really run with that instead of having her tied down to a fantasy medieval world.

I think there is little recourse though, considering animation production is already hurried as it is. So it's not really like 'release a game broken and patch later' situation, even though gaming has its time crunch as well. But it seems a lot more dire with anime production.

Did it look a little wonky at times? Yeah. Was it show breaking like it was made out to be? No.

I hear that isn't true. Animators don't have the luxury to just sit around and mess up animation projects. They're underpaid and overworked and hurried. They can't trudge through that without a ton of passion of the craft. It's not as simple as 'fans care more'. Because I don't think that's fair to the animators.

My only issue is that the game comes to a halt right after this city, because the game was hopelessly rushed and every events were told to you from Fei/Elly narrating on a chair.
