What a coincidence!  I just got a call from the hospital this morning.  Time for my annual colonoscopy.

After some asshole on a bike shot past me from behind with maybe an inch between us while I was walking on the sidewalk, all I can say is, I fucking hope so.

Thank you! I did have a recurrence earlier this year which landed me in the hospital for a month, but things are going well at the moment.

I’m nearly the same age as Boseman (I’ll be 43 in December) and like him I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016.

I think it’s a bit of a stretch to declare an entire country more racist than the United States based on the casting decisions of one TV show.

It kinda reminds me of the Toronto van attacks where the suspect tried to get a cop to shoot him by pointing an object at the police officer and saying “I have a gun!” The cop responded, “I don’t care.” and was able to arrest him.

Her husband is Canadian and in Canada.  She’ll have to prove that they’re married, but if she can, she’ll be allowed to cross.

While it’s always a good thing when countries can make peace, the peace deals between Israel and Egypt (when Carter was president) and Jordan (when Clinton was president) are vastly more meaningful than a deal between Israel and the UAE.

Fortunately, I doubt he’s having to pay the fees.  Since this went down while he was acting in an official capacity, MLSE is probably covering the costs.
