The specs are wrong in this post, it actually has 273 ft-lb of torque. Still very impressive, though.
Let’s reverse course on that dyslexic moment and call it 273. But at 9423 pounds it should still go go go :)
372 torques huh....
Dealerships will make sure it'll be 50k.
Do you have an editor on staff?
>This thing will be embarrassed by mommy mobiles.
I agree with most of what you said, except for this part. Most mommy mobiles are very heavy, so the GR Corolla will still have an edge. Too many people only look at HP numbers and forget to account for how much mass you’re lugging around.
I guess NP with today’s prices - BUT - I protest, clean the damn car. Disgusting. Did he just move a load of sheetrock? Bags of cement? When was the last timing belt?
As a former Element owner, I can assure you that there was nothing “fun” about driving this thing. It’s the only car purchase I truly regret and was thrilled to get out of it at a minor loss. And a stick would not improve it at ALL. It’s one of the few truly incompetent Hondas ever made.
It’s really an impressive fete
Think Carmen Electra.
“Complicate, then add bloatedness”
I’m amazed they were able to resist the urge to call it the “Kingdom Hearts: Digital Friendship at the End of the World, Vol. 27.” “Tamagotchi” is too straightforward from this franchise.
So they are going to compete wih gamepass by being worse and more expensive?
6 spd, turbo, AWD, 300hp hatch, that if anything like the Yaris GR will be essentially a WRC homologation car. What isn’t there to be excited about?
It’s not the sensible choice with a 268hp engine and a manual. And, that’s what makes me salivate at it.
I was feeling the same way until that GR Yaris dropped. If they can get half that personality and performance into the GR Corolla then it’s a total win. I’m hoping for more 90s Toyota personality to rear it’s head!
6 year old Subaru means that the engine was eating and leaking oil like crazy and probably shat itself so he probably replaced it with refurb engine. My friend has a vintage Forester and basically keeps adding oil till this thing will finally die. Probably somewhere in the middle of Death Valley when he is out camping…
If you let the clutch out fast, sure. But a modern car is gonna be able to move the car at idle without stalling as long as you let the clutch out slowly.
