A 3G was the first (and second-to-last) car I ever bought new... it looked like it was from another planet and I was completely smitten. I’d just landed my first real job and was rebelling against my dad (“Never EVER buy cars new!”). It was patriot/metallic red, of course. In retrospect, I wish I’d picked up a VR-4 in

why would there be hand to hand combat?”

Thiiiiiiiiiiis!

I’m so perplexed by this. I would’ve been thrilled to play Black Flag with friends online. Or Rogue. Or Odyssey!… their seagoing adventures felt perfect. Instead they spent 10 years cutting down on features and charged more??

Acts 1 & 2 run great!  The big city in Act 3 struggles to load on it, though.  Hopefully they can optimize it a bit more.

How/why did this thing gather so much hype in the first place? People truly saw a derivative of The Last of Us/Division 2 from an unknown/sketchy studio and thought: “Game of the Year!”?

Who was his insurance provider?  You’d think that if anyone was going to be anonymized for this story, it would’ve been the driver.

Cool, so we’re doing that thing again where Mazda shows off a concept and pretends that a successor to the RX-7 is imminent?

Have they added any sort of way of finding star systems that doesn’t involve just opening the map and scrrooooooollling around forever?

I mean, being 7 years old (comparatively) was Hammond’s entire deal for years, so yeah.  That checks out.

Edited!

I was just looking at used (“plebe”) EVs the other day, but this helps remind me that the EV infrastructure is still a nightmare and maybe it’s best to wait out another generation. I can put that car payment off awhile longer!

Plus as some in the comments noted, it creates unnecessary entitlement among drivers; those of more expensive EVs with faster charging may think that they have a right to a fast charger because of the amount of money they spent on their vehicle.

You can’t put a price on insanity and that’s just what this is. There’s also nothing to cross-shop it against, except maybe a flat-Earth seeking steam-powered rocket, but I can’t find any of those on Craigslist or Ebay. Thus, my hands are tied and it’s NP.

Edited (forgot to Never Post)

I doubt that anyone expects that they did it on purpose. It clearly demonstrates that F1 didn’t even do a simple Google search on the area before moving in, though. Pressing on the frame of your glasses and ‘well actually...”-ing the locals doesn’t help the situation, either.

I wonder how this feels streamed onto the deck from Game Pass?  I’ll be running that version on my PC anyway, so maybe I’ll give that a go.

I’m one of those Quest 2 users and I don’t even know/care how to access their Metaverse. Are YOU using it?

9 year-old me would be SO EXCITED about the possibility of supersonic air travel. Current-Me desperately hopes this is truly just a design exercise, as even a reduced supersonic “thump” would still be distinctive and annoying enough to make me grate my teeth every time another billionaire flies over my house.

I was so hyped for Rogue Squadron that my wife and I wore Top Gun themed x-wing pilot costumes to SW Celebration a couple years back. Super-bummed that it died off!
