I have nothing to say about this guy or his movie, but the MPAA is a giant joke. When The Wizard of Oz came to theaters in 3D a few years back, they re-rated it PG.

Despite being a Disney fan, I haven’t gone to the theater for any of the other Disney remakes (or even watched any besides the Alices). This one though actually looks interesting enough to get me to go, and growing up I remember Mary Poppins being one of my least favorites. There must be some kind of switch that flips …

Remember Chris Rock’s routine about how if tobacco wasn’t the government’s (ie, the white man) drug, you’d get 50 years for a pack of Newports? That’s immediately what I thought about when I read this.

I greatly prefer having a physical guide in front of me when I’m playing a game, but that just might be the crotchety 30 year old in me who avoids all these new ways of doing things.

I got my Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Silver at Sam’s Club as guide bundles, though the Blue guide disintegrated into loose pages on account of me being ten when it was released...

I understand everyone is trying to be PC these days, by censoring all traces of old “racist” media. But they need to keep in mind that while we can improve, we should not forget where we came from. Leave the old things to learn from.

The thing that annoyed me the most about Wikia was their excuse for getting rid of the Monobook skin (aka the old Wikipedia style). They sent out an email saying they had to ditch it because of the EU privacy switchover.
