Boys only clubs and gatekeepers and whatnot are the reason I don’t play online multiplayer games. I grew up as the only girl with a game boy and experienced the beginnings of this stuff, and dealing with it in person was rough enough.

I’ve used something like this for like 10 years on paypal. Little gizmo you push and it gives you numbers like the texts do. Bought it back when they only charged 5 bucks for them, then they started charging way more once people found out about them. Now I think they just send people the SMS.
