No, they’re responding to commenters who are doing so, taking this as an opportunity to shit on the writers at Polygon. They’re pointing out that the EIC here was in fact one of those writers.

Is there an argument here that the board has failed to fulfill its duties to the shareholders (both morally/ethically and financially) and should therefore be dissolved and replaced?

And the nostalgia they’re mining is with 30-40 year olds that played Halo LAN games in college, people who now have jobs, families, and other responsibilities.  We don’t have the time to play through 100-200 hours of matches to unlock the sweet unlock we bought the pass for.  It should be structured to where you’re

NO MORE FKING “BATTLE PASSES.” I’m tired of this crap. Developers aren’t making good games anymore, they’re just making tons of FOMO so they can try to keep the impulse spenders on the hamster wheel for as long as possible.

Also, enough with these stupid “Seasons” with exclusive content that is released all of one

don’t you kinda hate everything though?

When Starbuck met Starbuck at Starbucks.

“meretricious”

I assume this ends like most Yakuza games do: With two shirtless, buff dudes punching each other on top of a skyscraper.

...anyway, can’t wait to play this because whenever that music starts up, i get verklempt.

Well this looks fucking fantastic, I’m definitely still hyped. That said, the lack of campaign coop at launch is still beyond idiotic, that’s been a staple of Halo since the first game, I will never get over my saltiness about that not being available at launch.

Man, that music knows how to hook you!

Didn’t Harrison Ford famously stipulate that he’d only appear in the sequels if they killed him off? So it’s kinda hard to lay that particular decision at the feet of Abrams.

I’m too lazy too look for the quote, but when people try to say that Marcia was the secret brains behind Star Wars, she says that ultimately, the characters, the stories, the names, came out of George’s head (and maybe Kurosawa, but that’s another story).

You don’t get the magic of Star Wars.

I think a lot of people are pretty aggravated at John for a plethora of reasons (apparently?) but the biggest reason I’ve taken away from it is that he made a lot of his stand-up ”child free”, and he will now be mentioned in every argument about being child-free from here on out. “John Mulaney TALKED about being

Oh, the timeline is a bit sketchy? How about how she keeps getting movie roles with her outstanding acting chops. lol

Yeah it’s a bummer that the nice guy comic you like so much is a reckless prick in real life but all of these indignant comments that there is gossip going on in this gossip column are hilarious.

Look, I always loved Mulaney’s comedy.
But, here - regardless of timeline, Olivia is pregnant by an addict fresh out of rehab (who had relapsed and needed an intervention.)

I’m just impressed at Mulaney’s ability to get things done during a pandemic. Dude gained a drug addiction, a mistress, a baby and an ex-wife all while I’m still having my groceries delivered.

I don’t actually care about Mulaeny’s (or Munn’s) personal lives or what they did or whether they cheated or not. Not the first time this has happened in Hollywood and none of my business anyway. But I generally like Mulaney (sitcom aside) and his output, which is why I am, I suppose, interested in this story. It
