I own the OG Shield. It works as-advertised outside of the home and can be used with M/KB. Most high-end games can't be rendered remotely with commonly-available RDP/VPN software like Splashtop. Most show a black screen and will only accept touchscreen input.

see, for me.. this would beat out buying a laptop for gaming. just use gamestream to stream games from my rig to the tablet and play on there. with video output, mouse, keyboard, and controller... I can play almost any game at max settings and get a better experience than a laptop worth $2k+.
