When you’re in your 80s, just going to WalMart is hard labor.

LOL, just noticed this last night in “El Dorado” (old John Wayne movie) — they’re riding horses on a dirt road, but their hooves sound like they’re on asphalt!
I just picked up a ‘14 3.6R (replaced my old ‘01 A4 1.8T), love it so far, just wish we had some snow here in eastern PA!
FWIW, my ‘14 H6 Outback has dual exhaust.
Stick with the 6-cylinder, it never had the head gasket issues.

Dunno, I drove my ‘87 944S daily until my daughter was born in ‘02, then bought an ‘01 A4 which I’ve been driving ever since. I’ll probably replace that this spring, but I still have the Porsche (just don’t drive it as much now, sigh).
That’s not true. I recently bought a stereo cabinet from Stickley. It’s solid wood, steel (not pot metal) hinges and pulls, and the finish exactly matches the Stickley chair I bought 15 years ago (which looks nearly new, except for the corner of one cushion where the cat attacked it). It wasn’t $150 from a big-box…
Yeah, whenever I feel my life has no meaning, I always console myself with the thought that at least I’m not the guy who installs turn signals in BMWs.
