I’m pretty sure the hand abuse was only given a lore excuse for further hand abuse.

Someone didn’t actually play RE7.
The amount of times the guy gets his hands sliced off only to quickly reattach them made me laugh
Its just his hands. And its because its the first person perspective. Plenty of giant disgusting monsters to kill like in any other RE game in spooky gothic locations to solve puzzles so you can get more giant disgusting monsters to munch on your hands.
Intergrade is just Remake, slightly improved for PS5, plus the Yuffie content. It is not Part Two, I don’t think we even have a date for that yet or any photos teasing it.
Alternate take: Just pay the money now and play the game. I mean, you realize it’s going to be many, many, many years before it’s all done, right? I don’t even think they’ve committed to a total number of chapters. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if they George R.R. Martin it and just never finish it at all.
Why stop there? Why not just live as though you’re 10 years in the past? Tons of great Xbox 360 games for dirt cheap!
Sony will always have the nicest edges while being the saltiest bitch on the block.
Sony you raggedy spiteful bitch I love you.
from what I could tell, there was a large portion of the game dedicated to hiding from the Molded dude (Jack I think) and running away.
there was no hiding in RE7. you’re almost never defenseless in that game.
buy them all and play them. they all have an easy difficulty and you’ll get better at playing them the more you play.
They weren’t even invincible enemies, aside from Marguerite in the VHS tape. You can temporarily stop them.
Those parts featured heavily in the marketing, but there were only two moments of having to run from invincible enemies in 7 and they were actually pretty brief and in the first half of the game if I recall correctly.
As somebody who is a long-time fan of the RE series and also felt that RE7 wasn’t nearly as good as other entries in the series (especially because of the emphasis on stealth and grindhouse style gore), I can say: you should give it a shot.
Uh, no it didn’t? It was the best selling individual release in the franchise, and even then it’s 4th on the overall sales list behind games that have been constantly released on every console in existence.
If Capcom were going to go back to “what sold”, then RE 8 would be another action packed game like RE 5 or 6. 7 was a return to the atmosphere of the original trilogy, and it sold 8.5 million copies as a result. Almost a million copies more than RE2 Remake. It’s the 4th best selling game of the franchise, and the 3rd…
Is it not clear that he was talking about the genre and not specifically about what the Evangelion are?
I am not good at video games as a rule and I had very little issue with the difficulty in Control. A boss might give me issues, but I'd step away for a day and usually beat them on the first try. YMMV of course, but my experience was relatively smooth.
