And what happens to their January 6 plan?

Sounds like the Alf sets had too many cooks...

“50 cent version of Batman” is pretty much Rorschach’s entire deal though.

ALF was by all accounts absolute hell to film, with the sets being a maze of dangerous trapdoors for the puppeteers, and just about all the actors hating each other. You’d never know it from his performance, which hit the perfect ET-lite note throughout the whole show. And good for him getting out of the business

I suspect their involvement makes the project a lot easier to promote and draw attention. There may also be a contractual obligation barring the use of other actors doing ADR since this dub is meant for people living in the North American market.

Current Pixar standards”? Elemental was a decent movie and I though Turning Red was pretty good. Those and Luca were all fairly original films.

And Andor!

It’s a shame that his legacy will always be Supersize Me, a flawed documentary that I never cared for. His real strength was his TV series, 30 Days and Inside Man, which really explored compelling corners of life with an empathetic eye.

One of the many highlights: the hotel rooms, for a thousands of dollars per day experience, did not provide fully-paid Disney+ access.

You don’t understand, he’s the perfect choice because he had a TV show that ended before most of these students were even born.

Right because otherwise all graduation events are 100% legally binding and if you miss them you have to do college again.

He is the undrilled bowling ball of comedians.

And it’s not like his comedy was ever “edgy.”

It’s funny to me that he of all people has started on this anti-”woke” party. Like Woke didn’t force him to write a shitty movie about cereal.

All protest is, in some sense, a performance. What a weird and unnecessary observation.

All of this aside, celebrated assholes shouldn’t be giving commencement speeches - this includes 38-year-olds who ‘dated’ 17-year-olds.

“I think it is also wonderful that you care so much about not hurting other people’s feelings in the million and one ways we all do that every second of every day,”

I mean, the dude is Canadian. He’s genetically modified to be incredibly polite and kind. So to somehow piss HIM off (via impoliteness, which Canucks obviously cannot abide, in the form of being chronically late to work) seems pretty telling.

None of this seems at all surprising, except the beef with Ryan Reynolds.  It seems impossible to piss Ryan Reynolds off.  He’s so easygoing.  Dwayne must have been the biggest of assholes.
