AMA’s appeal is also lost in the lack of clear transparency (for me anyway) between actually buying from amazon or buying from their third-party marketplace, which seems to be super sketchy. Cheap rip offs and no oversight.

I deleted my account a long time ago, and your post reminded me that in doing so I’d lost my last interactions with a deceased friend.. while that realization stung, I consoled myself with the notion that I still have actual memories with that person. I backed up my data, and screenshotted things here and there that I…
I deleted mine last August. Life has been so much better - I don’t see all the angry old people commenting nonsense on news articles. I keep in touch with friends through instagram (which doesn’t feel as invasive, and is generally more positive than facebook), and I haven’t encountered any hardships resulting from the…
Same! I’m picking it back up this afternoon.
Which is really incredible, even in the modern age, if you think about it. How many other women have been in influential, leadership positions (even if mostly symbolic) for so long? I mean, we haven’t even had a female leader in the US. It is incredibly fascinating to me.
Agreed. While I wouldn’t mind learning about the Onassis’ and Bouvier’s (scripted, never reality), I like the depth here, and the struggle, and showing the weight of responsibility rather than focusing on glamour and idealization and leaving the responsibility as a footnote.
hngggg you have awakened a longing that has slumbered for so long
The descriptions of his meals - by his allies - are incredible. Eating that much fast food, already obese, the oldest president, etc. paired with a family history of hereditary Alzheimer’s.. good times.
Obama didn’t need to try to look tough, which is what all of these limpdick, insecure manbabies don’t seem to grasp.
Calling him a manchild seems like an overestimation.
Because dropping $700 on lobster is totes normal. The same people getting their panties in a bunch over this are GUARANTEED to be the same people who rant and rave when other people spend their money extravagantly. You’re all just saucy about it because it happened to be a blue collar job and that strikes a nerve.
$700 on a meal is over the top though.
100% bet that this guy would still rant about a woman dropping $1500 on a pair of shoes though.
Chip on the shoulder, much?
I mean, my family owns a 100+ year old business in which we’re all shareholders, and I still think $700 for dinner is over the top (unless you’re feeling 20+ people).
Are you me?
Lobster is gross anyway. Sea bugs.
Good point. Unfortunately, you can still legally record people, including minors, in public (as I learned as a teenager at the beach when some creepy 40+ year old set his camera on us). So.. I guess creepers win this time. :(
They should work on the aesthetics. Those look extremely lame.
“And no, I am not joking, look at people stuffing themselves with sugar and cereals, or eating hotter and hotter chilies, at every meal, or cannot eat if their plate is white from salt.”
