I had to do a double-take this morning when this story loaded onto my feed, as this has also been very similar to my own reality for the past year, which has often felt more like a waking nightmare than my actual life.

Actually, chronic pelvic pain conditions can affect men just as much as they can affect women- with painful trigger points all throughout the pelvic floor musculature that can make sex (and just life in general) miserable, especially if the pudendal nerve is impinged. I’m a female who is currently in pelvic floor

I’m self-employed and my premium is $520 a month- high deductible, high out of pocket maximum. Where I live I only have two choices of providers, and each are hospital-based insurance plans. That’s not my beef (okay, I have a major beef with it, but it’s not part of this rant).

I don’t have much to say for my state right now, but I just want people to know that we’re not all backwards here. Many, MANY of us (especially East River) are ashamed and sickened about this piece of legislation.
