I agree completely. This sign, intended to taunt the alt-right, played right into both sexist and racist tendencies to dehumanize. There are much better ways to piss them off, without resorting to this crap. Our side needs to do better than this.

It’s also a racist sign, BBC is about the fetishising of black men which renders us less than human and overtly sexualised. White women are as guilty of this as white men.

Definitely. I think the sign that resonated most was “Flint needs clean water.” That person was saying it’s more important to look at the bigger picture of inequality than trying to prove a who’s-less-racist point

The presidency is a popularity contest. A politician in an election can potentially lose if they do not receive much press coverage, which would have increased their exposure.
