You Elon Musk groupies are so fucking weird. Elon IS a grifter. Nothing he has done has been due to his supposed “genius” from a scientific perspective. The man doesn’t actually understand science. He’s a shrewd businessman who knows how to buy companies and hire the right people. I’ll give him the credit for that.

There’s a lot of that going on these days. See: Trump, Donald.

Now THAT is the part I was missing here. If all the vehicles were carted by the racing org from race-to-race, I was trying to figure out HOW the teams were supposed to innovate. If its all the same vehicles, sound or no, that just seems like a rich persons hobby vs a serious way for mfgs to foster technical innovation.

I’d bet far more of the Harley cult understands exactly how their gas-to-noise conversion devices work than can be said for the crowd that breathes deeply of Elmo’s musk.

“10/10 Still highly recommend!"

I’ll bet money these guys have to be rescued by people in real trucks at some point.

We should absolutely be fining loud babies. Lots of people enjoy the sound of a Lambo, no one is saying “oh cool a screaming baby”

Noise is noise no matter what it’s coming from

Sleeping babies are usually pretty quiet, awake babies can be outrageously noisy.

Counterpoint: He is smart in exactly zero ways, he is a conman and a snake oil salesman who got rich marketing the ingenuity of others.

My heart aches.

Tying it to income doesn’t work. Billionaires “make” less income than most people from all the ways to avoid declaring their income as personal income through trusts, companies expenditures, and etc.

This whiny “rich are being held by different standards than the rest of the world” quote, at the end, from the “campaigners” really adds the hypocrisy of it all too. They want, and receive, special treatment because of their wealth on a daily basis. The idea that they would ever be given “special treatment” that

That’s why I believe fines should be tied to income. For the uber rich, fines are just the cost of doing business. However, if you change the fines and adjust them with how much they earn, they’ll be singing a different tune. Finland has speeding fines based on income and I’m okay with that. Quit punishing the poor

What's ur problem

I hope tomorrow goes better for you, buddy.

A moron who left their vehicle and licence information at the dealership before their test drive... can’t run away from that.

Me too, because then we might get some fun street cars instead of the current crop of bloated expensive over powered nonsense that’s only good for bench racing.

Honestly, I’m OK with it.

I would not put Toyota and Honda in the same bucket with Nissan and Mitsubishi.
