Oh come on, my old 386 could have rendered something this low-poly. :-P

All of the additional triangles needed are sitting in container ships off the coast, waiting to be unloaded.

Say what you will about the Aztek, it was possible to purchase one.

I think they could get the same benefits with a less ugly design.  Truck buyers and tech adopters aren’t a big overlap in the Venn.

I guarantee it is going to sell really well among people who make their living on YouTube.

The number of absurd trucks is maybe 0.001% of all the trucks on the road. You’re just more likely to notice them.

I don’t think it has anything to do with usefulness.  Just Ugliness.  The majority of potential buyers of an electric truck from Tesla aren’t going to be able to sign up for such a...unique...design.

It’s gonna be a hit for like the 2000 weirdos that are actually willing to fork over the money for a giant, unconventional, and less useful truck purely for the off the wall overly retro-futuristic design & look-at-me factor. But for the general truck buying populace, I agree. It’s gonna be 100% DOA.

I know why it’s delayed — it’s still rendering!

In my country, GM refused to compete; so they’re gone.

“Has already rose?”

I mean, guess you’ve never driven a 60 hp hatchback from the nineties?
Really, GT86's are pretty good, with 230 hp and 6 seconds to 100 km/h

That is a textbook example of a safety-related defect under federal regulations. It is an element of the car that posesunreasonable risk of accidents occurring because of [its] design”.

Hey now.

That is a safety defect. Doesn’t matter if it wasn’t advertised. If you do not slow down or change lanes for emergency vehicles, you will be ticketed for dangerous, some might even say “unsafe”, driving behavior. Tesla is selling and advertising a unsafe “Autopilot” system, using customers to train and develop the

I’m gonna throw in a curveball - the Toyobaru twins are old school sports cars.

How would we know.  Jalops don’t buy new cars we just comment on them.

I get these as rentals regularly. I don’t see that they really need a refresh. They are unique on the market at this point, the tooling is long paid for, they are very reasonably priced and pretty nice to drive with a reasonable level of modern conveniences. Just leave well enough alone.

This is the correct answer.
