This was groundbreaking at the time and way better than today’s naysayers say it was. Futuristic looks and unmistakably unique proportions, huge interior room and trunk, comfortable ride and competent handling. The V6 was pretty smooth too.

HP/ L matters because I care about efficiency. LS motors aside, a massive engine that produces less hp than a smaller one is lazy engineering. Cadillac’s famed 8.2 liter V8 made 190 hp and needed a massive hood to fit under. It also, predictably sucked a ton of gas.
