Call me crazy but I like the Avantine.

I have a 2014 with 6MT. Holds 2 rear facing carseats, plus a third adult in backseat, a weekend’s worth of luggage and 2 medium sized dogs in the back no problem. I wouldn’t weight mine down with thousands of dollars of stuff that could buy a used Miata, but to each his own.

Price is 20K too high. Color is horrible. Front air dam is ghetto. Otherwise... sweet!

I first read that as DRUNK and the design started to make sense to me.

I’d pay 10K if it had a manual swap and factory wheels.

Seems good in theory but I don’t trust Honda (and especially Acura-Honda) to make anything that’s not butt ugly these days.

There’s is no possible way the average American can afford a 33K car. I make much more than the average American, love cars and have never indulged in a 33K car. And if I were going to spend 33K all at once, I’d buy 2 or 3 cars for that much money.

This might be a physics problem, but what is the chance of losing it on landing at 70mph presuming the steering wheel stays straight and the road surface is relatively level?

Yep and 2015+ the third pedal is probably gone for good. There actually was a Premium 3-pedal in 2014 but no one would budge on price. I wasn’t going to pay 4 grand more for fogs, leather wheel, tweeters, slightly fancier stereo and a power seat.

LOL I paid 22K for my 2014 Outback with a manual transmission. (It was stripped but I’ve added most of the Premium features myself... just need to add a leather wheel now.)

A coupe Miata I can squeeze two kids in the back? Take my money. But, I’d rather have a tiny 4-door sedan or 5-door mini-wagon built on the Miata platform. If that’s possible.
