One of the committee members, a former engineer raised a good point... and I’m paraphrasing:

My lease has a weird clause that I’m allowed to do minor services in my covered parking spot, but any long term car projects rendering a vehicle powerless for more than a month needs management approval. Thought that was some pretty specific language... then again, every other driveway in the neighborhood has some

They got rid of that motor. Most of the base/lower trim VWs come with a 1.4T or 1.8T.

I live a few miles from UCLA... you can come hang out and poach my internet anytime!

Really? No Fiesta ST on this list?

This concept looks great and all but where is the MAZDASPEED release we’ve been waiting for since April?!

Since the last truck was called a “hummer” this one should be called a “ZJ” cruiser.

I went to an ENT for snoring. Turned out to be a deviated septum and massive tonsils. After getting my septum repaired and a tonsillectomy all in one shot, I’ve been sleeping like a ninja and I’m generally immune to hangovers like some sort of superhero.

I went through a binge of your and Wes’s RideApart articles a couple months ago, and once I ran out I went to Common Tread for more material. Looking forward to seeing your work on my first/last stop of the day. Welcome to Jalopnik!

That’s what iMac’s are for... duh!

Is the portait/landscape button not appearing for anyone else after the update? It won’t appear in my app even with new photos, after rebooting phone, etc...

If getting out of the lease is a high priority and you’re willing to (probably) pay for it, take it to CarMax. They bought out the lease on my FR-S and it was just as easy as selling a non-lease vehicle.

Say “car Ram-rod”!!!

Will there be some sort of directory or lookup for these guides or will we have to rely on advanced googling to track them down once they roll off the front page?

Definitely saw a guy lane-split on his Can-Am on the PCH this past weekend... most obnoxious thing I’ve ever seen.

Is there a code needed for the 240GB PNY SSD? Does any one have experience with these drives?

Congratulations on the birth of your... umm...

Preach it grumpy cat...

If there is one thing I can’t recommend enough on used German sports cars... it’s a god damn pre-purchase inspection. Is $200-400 really too much to spend to find out all these issues before signing all the papers?

Fingers crossed for a Jackie Chan movie with these in a chase scene!
