After having just watched the report on ‘Le Iene’ this evening regarding this story, it would seem that it was Marquez’s family/friend who reacted violently.

The program ‘Le Iene’ has just released a statement about the events that occured.

I’ve lived in Italy for over 10 years & have been watching the show Le Iene for several years - it is highly unlikely that the journalist attacked Marquez, I have watched numerous reports here they have been physically attacked & they never retaliate.
