It's interesting to ponder what it means when someone says "she didn't seem like the type". What IS the "type"?

I'm sorry you were treated so poorly! Speaking for myself, whenever I'm sick, I want my mom. It does make a huge difference to get that validation and comfort from a female. Huge. My youngest child is very empathic and nurturing and it's the sweetest thing in the world to feel her little hand patting me.
