Old people took selfies. Whenever there were cameras, there were people turning them toward themselves. Before the front facing camera was even commonplace on smartphones, people turned them backward.

I always feel like more of a narcissist by the thought of asking someone to take a pic. Like my pic is so important I have to burden someone else with the task when I have arms lol. But I’m really self conscious about potentially coming off as needy and burdensome.
