Great episode, surprising and engaging. This show can be so creative and "real" when it's not busy slamming Hollywoo(d).

The thing is … I do. I want to see more of first seasons' Diane, Cary and Kalinda. Before every cast member slowly became mere pawns in Alcia's/Julianna's world.

It's funny you'd say that … I saw myself

I really enjoyed the first eight episodes but the "dramatic turn" the two last episodes have taken were really disappointing. I felt it was embracing soap opera / teen drama codes in ways that really hurt the tone and dynamic the show had previously built.

This article is the reason why I only want to read news on the A.V.Club henceforth …

None of those were Paul Anka from Gilmore Girls ;)
