LeBron is staying in Cleveland and Lue will never realize his dream of actually coaching an NBA team.

oh ok. Well that's still a good deal since Amazon pretty much has everything!

Kyle: Large grain of salt...I just haven't had any bad experiences with them...and my PayPal cc got exposed in one of the many breeches, and they were quick to get on it and get the charges off my card.

Article idea: The necessity of calling ASAP about breeches...and most banks, credit card companies and my credit

This is correct. Your original comment implies a credit towards a future Amazon purchase.

Correct, this is a store card and can only be used at Amazon.

From my understanding you can't save them up. It will give you the option at checkout for the 5% back or special financing if your order is over $149.

My understanding is that the 5% comes back in the form of a credit to your account, so if you purchase $100 in a month, your statement bill will be $95. Am I missing something?

Do you have to use it every purchase the cash back, or can you save it up? Or does it give you option at checkout? I never had a credit card in my life, but the cash back part would be nice for me since i always pay stuff off.

That's not how statement credits work.

So this is 5% credit back on Amazon purchases, but no rewards for purchases made outside of amazon.com, correct?

It comes back as a statement credit, so yeah, in theory, you can only redeem it at Amazon.

so is the 5% cash back actual money back? or is it store credit that you can only redeem on amazon.com? Either way is cool, because amazon has everything, but I'm just trying to clarify.

Tempted. Thanks for the note about creating your own Prime account if you're a guest of someone.

Also, Synchrony Bank handles the PayPal card. No problems with them, but I didn't notice the name changed, and kept marking the notices as spam.

I think someone told you wrong. The higher credit limit you have of all of your lines of credit combined, compared to your balance across all your lines, the better, and plays a decently large part in determining your FICO score.

I've read numerous times that you shouldn't have too many credit cards. For example, I've heard you shouldn't have more than three credit cards.
