Yes! The rooftop with the ship crashing and the pig cops. Then street then movie theater then strip club. Great memories.

I just wanted to knock out some single player cafe progress during my free time. I don’t understand how any body at Sony thought this was a good idea.

I play Forza Horizon without an internet connection regularly. Of course multiplayer events don’t work, but apart from that the full game is there and playable.

How long is it going to take to be released though? I’m almost 50. I’m not getting any younger. I’ve only got 1 or 2 GTA games in my life time. If GTA6 comes out in 4 to 6 years and they also milk GTA6 for 10 more years. By the time we get GTA7 I could be well into my 70's.

Frame rate discussion is weird because unless it's like Hard Drivin' on the SNES (which I think was running at SPF instead of FPS) I typically don't notice at all, but other people act like 30 fps makes a game basically unplayable.

I know this says more about me than it does the folks who write these, but it’s still flooring to me when games that could previously only be played at 30 FPS gain the ability to be played at 60 or 120 and people are like “aside from that minor upgrade, nbd.” Has the same energy as “aside from that, how was the show?”

I was lucky enough to aquire a PS5. I purchased it mostly for improving performance of PS4 games along with the promise of next gen. I was still running with a launch PS4 and I still am running a launch XB1.

The difference isn’t as pronounced because they’re still catering to 2 generations.  However, as someone who managed to get a PS5, it would be very hard to go back to PS4.  The higher framerates are very much appreciated but the fast loading has become a necessity that I would not want to give up.  Playing through

None of that power on screen came for free, none of it.

This could be a reasonable alternative if they put PS5 games on PS Now and made them available to PS4 users. You know, pretty much exactly what Xbox Cloud Gaming did for Xbox One users. But I rather doubt they’d even consider that option.

I still wish it was Bruce Campbell playing Sully.

AAA games are going to go up in price someday. It’s inevitable. I really don’t understand why people are so surprised.

I’d argue that this is an appropriate use of the slideshow for once. Just wish there was a write up for each.

IP laws are so broken. Digital distribution is so broken. Nobody is ever going to fix this and it’s actually gonna get worse in the future.

I love Tom Holland but my brain can’t handle him not being Bradley Cooper and Sully not being Tom Selleck or Bruce Campbell which has been my fan-casting since I played Uncharted 2 ages ago...

But is there hot coffee?

Super Mario Bros wasn’t an arcade game.

I have no idea how this hasn’t been a thing from the beginning. I would have gladly given whatever store my money last November even if it took months to take delivery. Where is the harm in doing actual preorders? They get the money now and I get to relax a little instead of scouring social media accounts hoping for

So I am 23 seconds in and what is fascinating to me is that he is clearly, genuinely, proud of that accent. Like, he worked on it, or maybe he feels he has a natural gift, and I think on some level he wants some recognition, some praise for doing such a good job (in his mind) with that accent.
