When I bought my truck (which is not an EV) I had something like two weeks by Florida state law to return it for any reason. Don’t like the dash material? Return. Color doesn’t match the mailbox? Return.

I assume either this guy lives in a state which considers all sales final, or Tesla manages to weasel out of

The truck isn’t significantly bigger than most other trucks in the same category/class. No chance parking is a real issue. The guy probably realized he’s stuck with a shitty overpriced hunk of metal, and is trying to find a way out of that insane contract.

There many thousands of people with full sized trucks who can comfortably park at their apartment buildings with properly sized parking spots.

That to me is the way funnier part of this story. Is this man ordering a Cybertruck the direct cause of him separating from his wife? Probably not!

Cynical mode:

Sometimes it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission. With the number of CTs already hitting various resale channels, do we honestly believe Tesla’s actively enforcing this policy? He probably would’ve been better served to just quietly sell it once he took delivery.

I’m sorry, I really am, but there’s no reality in which you can be well-adjusted and also think that a two night stay in a nerd hotel that costs more than many American families make in an entire month is ‘worth the cost.’ Like, just absolute ‘let them eat cake’ shit, good lord.

What, does the Compartment of Shame/Safety in each room not instill confidence in you or something?

Love her videos.

This is frustratingly every Disney property. Stayed at Aulani a litte while back (absolutely worth it IMO), and you could do a limited "trial" of Disney+. Even Marriott has MAX in every room free for your stay; why Disney doesn't automatically have the streaming service IT OWNS in every on property room is just

One of the many highlights: the hotel rooms, for a thousands of dollars per day experience, did not provide fully-paid Disney+ access.

Recast, or don’t, but PLEASE don’t use “archival footage” or AI to plug the character in long enough to die heroically or some shit. The Rise of Skywalker had A LOT of issues, obviously, but their “Fallout Boy” approach to “honoring” Carrie Fisher’s legacy pulled me out of it from the jump.

While I’ve enjoyed Kendrick repeatedly beating Drake worse than Homer beat the Krusty Burglar, I’m skeptical it will do any lasting damage to Drake’s career. Kendrick is a rapper’s rapper, whereas Drake is more of a pop star. He (or rather his ghostwriters) write rap that Taylor Swift fans can enjoy.

Jumped out with golden parachute and let others to land your burning plane.

So you’re telling me they made a YouTube channel to profit off the misfortune of others, instead of asking their local city or county to install a guard rail, adjust the speed limit, and add warning signs leading up to the curve?

In China, TikTok shows the kids science related video, math videos, art... things that generally improve their educational performance and commitment to the greater good.

It’s also in yours and my best interest to disrupt society, unless you have a cool billion lying around.

They could’ve just made it a limited production, 200-2000 or whatever, jacked the price way up to catch the rubes with deep pockets, and they’d have completely avoided this very avoidable snafu.

Now if you go back to the 70s...

Yea this would have been cool in movies like Judge Dredd, or Fifth Element. This is the most 80s futuristic design ever.
