Many of us who voted for Hillary did our part and are willing to accept the fact that 75% of the country didn’t vote for her. It sucks, but that’s the reality, and I see absolutely no alternative to accepting that Trump will be President for four years.

ahahaha. I was on Team No Team because my parents never let me do anything. I went from school to whatever practice I had (soccer, basketball or outdoor track depending on the time of year) and then STRAIGHT HOME. Seriously. That’s why I threatened them.

Sure but lets not act like SHE is the problem. Lying is bad. Yes. Lying about hate crimes is bad because it is a real issue that is often not taken seriously. But I think it is a bit of a reach to say a teenager lying is why hate crime is a problem or even that this case rwally factors into the issue at all.

And the NYT editor even admitted (as he chuckled) many years later that he made up the number of people who supposedly watched Kitty Genovese’s attack.

Teens need to do what I did: cry and write in a secret diary.

Clearly no amount of news stories or “facts” were going to make people change their minds about Trump.

That’s the worst part of it. These fucking liars cast doubt on all the real stories. It’s almost too late, really. Once you hear a few fake stories, you’re going to call “Chicken Little” on many of the others.

Ugh teenagers, please stop making stuff up. You will get found out, and it will cast doubt on all the legitimate incidents of hate crimes post-election.
