That was a very, very upsetting episode, on so many levels.

And then there was the classic Lace II, where Cates uttered the immortal line, "Which one of you bastards is my father?"

Well, better late than never. But I hope you didn't just stop at the title track, which you are correct in stating may be the best song ever. Even if you don't know how to spell "defibrillator." I forgive you. But really, that is a perfect album. Every song on it is absolutely brilliant. "Jungle Land" can make

Not to mention "Jungleland," "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out," "She's The One" and "Meeting Across The River." That album is just a damn masterpiece.

Well, actually, they kinda did let go of it, during the episode where Jackie nearly killed a patient because she was so high that she gave the patient the wrong dose of medication. But the last season, they definitely wanted us to feel bad that Jackie wasn't allowed to touch patients anymore, but I was thinking,

I know I'm in the minority, but I liked Hostages. A lot.

Yeah, obviously. That cockroach was never anything other than a wannabe. I think John meant that statement as a karma kind of thing, and not really as a "I'm gonna die in a fight" kind of thing.

Uh, thanks for the tip. But I've been a Beatlemaniac for over 50 years, so I actually knew that. I saw the Beatles when they appeared on Ed Sullivan and waited on a line with other screaming girls to see "A Hard Day's Night" during its original theatrical release. I've absorbed everything possible about the Fabs

I know that Paul wrote "Getting Better." I'm not an idiot. But John also admitted that he had been violent to women, and Cynthia wrote about it in her book, too. I always thought that line was something John put in, because I'd never heard of Paul beating women. Only John. They did still collaborate sometimes

Yes, he was awful to Julian. So was Yoko. It's a very sad story. I said she straightened him out some, not all. He appeared to be a very different sort of father to Sean than he was to Julian, who came along at a time when it was not good to be connected to John Lennon. No excuse, but if I had had a kid when I

It's possible you're right. Never knew about Stu's sister saying that. John was a violent person when he was younger, and was honest about it. I don't think it gets more real than, "I used to be cruel to my woman, I beat her and kept her apart from the things that she loved." I think Yoko straightened him out

John did not kick Stu in the head. John and Stu got into a fight with some other guys, and Stu got kicked in the head by one of those guys. He felt guilty about Stu's death for a long time, because he felt he should have protected Stu, and also because John kind if instigated the fight.

Oh, that one's about The Boston Red Sox.

I know! Learn to Fly? Really? I always saw that as an uplifting song. I know, the learning to fly and the planes and all, but still.

No, the girlfriend of the junkie, Gloria, was.

They usually do pretty well with casting kids and babies on GH, though. That kid who used to play baby Danny was like a miniature Steve Burton - no speaking, no facial expressions. Which was kind of weird, if you think about it, being that the "Stone Cold" persona was the result of brain damage. The baby really

That baby that is playing Avery is the best. And you can tell that the cast adores her, too. When she broke out with "Yay!" the other day, and everyone in the scene repeated, "Yay!" I just about lost it. She steals every scene she's in.

Oh, that husky puppy was so cute, I kept hoping Maxie WOULD give birth to it. Maybe that crazy judge would have let her keep it, instead of awarding custody to a computer hacker for the mob because he thought her cop boyfriend was a bad influence. And speaking of unlikely babies, there's the invisible Rocco. What's

TBH, I loved the vampire incarnation of PC, for all its insanity. It went from a fairly pedestrian hospital drama with an emphasis on these boring interns to a completely over-the-top roller coaster ride, with one character nuttier than the next. He's a vampire! Now he's not! Oh, wait! He is again! She's good!

I totally agree. They first started writing Silas well right before and after he died. They just didn't give him much to do. Don't know why he and Monaco didn't work this time. They were great together as Sam and McBain and Caleb and Livvie. I think the GH writers wanted to keep these three very popular actors
