Republicans believe every challenge is a zero-sum game. The idea that in order for them to win, someone must lose. The idea of everyone winning or benefitting from the game is an anathema to their philosophy.

Ah McCain, the biggest hypocrite there is. She would attack Trump whenever he mocked her father, yet would quickly defend him every single time her father wasn’t involved.

Most republicans are exactly this right now. It isn’t about the country, or making things better for anyone in the long run, it’s about being angry that others are finally achieving some parity with them, and the mistaken belief that in order for them to succeed others (anyone not them) must fail, or be destroyed.…

And yet they don’t see the hilarity in them calling people snowflakes nonstop like it is the worst insult ever, when they throw tantrums over the way people are talking about them or to them.

Idiot republicans have unlimited gall calling anyone a “snowflake”. They are rude, selfish brats and should be put in a very long time out.

They’re jettisoning assets and rearranging the books in advance of the lawsuit they know is coming so they won’t have to pay out. That’s what’s happening here.

I hate that Spacey has been revealed to be such a despicable asshole. He’s a truly talented actor and before this, I always enjoyed his movies usually because of how good he was in them. Now so many movies are ruined for me. It makes me extra angry. I hope his victims all find justice and Spacey faces the full…

Spacey aside, it seems like if you are accused of doing something heinous, and are defending yourself in court, at the very least the accuser should be known to you. Maybe I’m missing something? Does spacey’s team mean that they want the accuser to be made totally public, or that their team wants to know who it is?…

It is very very very rare for kids to make up sexual abuse. It is far more common that moms are so desperate to keep a man in their life (be it for emotional, financial, or other reasons) that they allow their kids to be abused.

She asked for help more than once. Her mother first, and then some random asshole on the internet. None of this should have happened to her.

I was lucky enough to be believed by my mom when I told her my stepfather was molesting me and we left the next morning when he went to work. This poor girl, the betrayal of not having your own mother not believe you and put you in further harms way. I hope she gets the therapy and support she needs with trustworthy…
