Oh my god a TON of people still think this.  My daughter is 2 and my boss STILL gets confused when I’m out of town.  “Who is taking care of the baby?”

I have bad anxiety driving after a family member was killed in a crash a couple years ago. Like every car that goes by I’m like, “what if they cross the line and hit me head on? Will I die? Will I be horribly injured? Will my daughter be okay?”

I didn’t even fucking understand that one.

Which is just . . . unthinkable. That you could sit there and listen to someone sincerely and heart-breakingly tell this story and just not care.

My stomach has hurt all day over this hearing.  It warms my (cold lawyer) heart a little bit to know she has good representation.
