I really think I'm fortunate to be at a place in my media consumption where I'm enjoying slow stuff again. On a different weekend I could see myself not having the time or patience to plod along with the series.

I actually prefer to watch dramas (or close-to-dramas) this way! But I've always had an obsessive personality: If I start reading a book I don't stop until it's done…if i put it down I tend to lose interest or forget about it.

Yeah I was a little confused about this— couldn't tell if she was meant to be the same person or if the "background" cast were like play-style and could be more than one part. Typing this out I realize that sounds very stupid of me.
