I’ve enjoyed this show immensely, but alas after last week any episode that is Maydisinn-free is automatically subpar. She needs her own show where the MCU happens around her.

I will admit that my favorite joke of the show so far was in this episode when Emil talked about his eight soul mates and Jen tried to move on by checking if there were any questions. Just that visual gag of all the parole board members raising their hands made me guffaw.

“Now the library’s more than just a quiet place to shoot someone!”

Well, it is a fantasy show. If they can have Hulks and people in flying metal suits, why not a prosecutor who actually believes in restorative justice?

Watch show first. Read about show second. This is an easy order to understand.

Can you MRM snowflake more? Men fucking “hulk out” in their everyday lives constantly, often with deadly results. Society (and media as reflection of that) lionizes and teaches that men are dominant, need to be protectors and warriors, not take shit, and that consequently violence can be an answer to their feelings of

so in which reality/society men are allowed to “hulk out” in their everyday lives?

I’m not sure we need to see a reason to understand how or why Deevers is such an asshole. She’s a heavy handed and over the top villain who nevertheless feels extremely real today, and I don’t doubt there are a hundred of them roaming the halls at TSA and various other government agencies right this second. It’s

Those fucking hats, tho. Why did he even have them? Now I desperately want a spin off with Kamran and Bruno as Halal and Haram, ala Heroes for Hire.

Be a bit weird to extend Karachi to a season in India instead of Pakistan.

The definitive live action Inhumans depictions was Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. They take their sweet time and the budget shows its strains from time to time, but at least the writing and acting were decent to great. Inhumans added nothing and was just superfluous.

I’ve been a comics fan since I was five, and I’m in my forties now. Anybody who says they care about the Inhumans is a liar. They’ve always been at best weird foils/allies for the FF. Black Bolt and Medusa are cool, but the tv show was total garbage and the only reason Kamala was INhuman in the first place was

So many people pretending they care about the Inhumans right now. Guys, just say you hate the show because you’re racist. I’d actually have more respect for that position.

The time travel of it all brought two bangles together (or rather the same one, twice) is what I think they were going for....but they did not make that bit easy to follow.

This adult is finding it far from “aggressively mediocre.” Aside from maybe WandaVision, this show by far exceeds any of the other MCU shows in showing realistic human emotion an interaction that comes across as genuine.

and the episode began with a 20-minute sequence in pre-Partition India

I love that Ant Man is now an A lister to the public. He went from “nobody knows Ant-Man” to being on murals around the world and that’s great for Scott.

I couldn’t believe the sheer production scale of this episode. Ms. Marvel may be the most cinematic of the Disney+ shows. All the Karachi locations. The final wide shot of the Partition train. Not to mention completely new end credit animations entirely set in Karachi with the new characters instead of Kamala’s family

I actually really liked the touch of Tyesha’s Black parents participating in the dance!

Isn’t Tyesha Somali, or something similar? In other words, isn’t she African?
