It’s not heavy handed. It’s painful to watch because it’s real. The barbarity is being downplayed if anything.

The Mackenzie family should have moved away between seasons. (Reese would obviously still appear, via FaceTime and Skype, and would come back for the trial.)
I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make here, perhaps you could spell it out.
This isn’t the most important thing but I quit watching at some point and uh HOUSE GOT MARRIED?????
I swear the BLL hairstylists have some sort of rule where one character per season is required to have Hair Troubles. First it was Ed and the rodent on his face, now it’s Jane and her TERF bangs, what will happen next???
AoS smoothly taking my Fitz-Simmons feelings from “Oh are they a couple?” to “I love that they’re just friends, please never go the trite couple route” to “It’s important to my happiness that they get married and have lots of sex and babies” is one of the most impressive things about the show.
This is art.
I spent the whole premiere waiting to hear how Jemma’s baby was, but I guess she was just the first woman on television to vomit and NOT be pregnant.
Valencia finally realizing the best part of lesbianism is probably one of my top ten favorite moments of this show.
Vulture did some good recaps, which I read in lieu of AV Club ones.
I believe it was Father Joseph -> Father Broseph -> Father Bro -> Father Brah.
Oh my god all I want now is a Madison Whitefeather (+ any assorted snails)/Father Brah episode.
Michael McKean always reminds me of the creepy old guy from the Sims-esque episode of SVU (and, later, the episode where Carisi goes undercover) and it made watching this very weird.
Thank god someone said it.
I was very disappointed that they missed an opening for a Tahani joke—when she said “I’ve never been in any kind of formation,” I fully expected the next line to be something like “except of course when it was with my dear friend Beyoncé.”
I’m verklempt at this.
When Rebecca started reading, did anyone else think back to her and Paula doing What a Rush to be a Bride (“What quote are you going with / LOVE IS PATIENT LOVE IS KIND!!”)
The wedding music was so perfect omg.
Most importantly, I have a new go-to #confusion gif.
I can’t imagine most Americans wouldn’t be just a little bothered if someone butchered their accent.
