It’s an American show, so I’d imagine most viewers, like me, have a general idea of an Australian accent but found Simone’s and Henry’s perfectly fine.

As a Jewish, I shrieked.
Wouldn’t you need to have done scans before the near-death experience, too?
It actually really hurt the gag where Michaels is bad on purpose, because it was in no way worse than any of the accents which we were meant to take seriously.
Me: I’m an adult, I have a 401(k) and everything.
Also me: Why the fuck aren’t we getting Paper Mario for the Switch
This show is so fucking good and so fucking giffable. Some personal highlights this season...
IIRC the wording was something like “the first born,” which could apply to twins as well.
Please for the love of god will everyone stop rewriting the scene from The Yearling/White Fang/Pete’s Dragon where someone pretends not to like their pet/friend in order to save them.
Unpopular(?) opinion: us never seeing Flaca react *was* us seeing Flaca react. She was always smart and savvy and, well, calculated. She decided she was going to be stoic and barely talk about Maritza and not cry and that’s what she did.
Goddammit that was a gut punch. I was prepared for all sorts of people to die, but I wasn’t prepared for ICE. And maybe it’s because deaths in prison seem relatively remote, whereas deportations are constantly happening all around us, but it hit me harder than anything else on this show has, including Poussey’s death.
I can’t speak for fancy federal court, but people walk in and out of regular court all the time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t think they’re twins, simply because someone would surely have referred to them as such if they were.
Also:
Um, I don’t know why you’re framing those as necessarily mutually exclusive. I know several people who did direct services public defender work right out of law school and later transitioned to policy, e.g. the ACLU.
I’m going to get a lot of use out of this gif.
I am so fucking angry at whatever the hell the Coates/Doggett thing is and the way it’s being framed, and I see no possible good outcome either realistically or within the show.
I’m in awe of your ability to stay spoiler-free. I figure I have til Monday before people stop using #oitnb in tweets.
Listen, a whole fuckin lot of people do not grasp that that’s what the “relationship” is, so I make no assumptions. PS When will we be getting more rankings?
Thank you for not even ranking Coates-Doggett. It’s genuinely beyond me why the show thinks going down the inmate/guard road again is a good idea. Not that it was a good idea the first time, either.
