I think these feelings are specifically because it’s *this* woman. It’s because not only is she so much more competent and qualified than anyone else up there, Warren was held up as the example 4 years ago when everyone was saying they’d vote for a woman, just not Hillary.

Agreed! He’s really the only President in my lifetime who’s had such an easy grace and charm. Dude was effortlessly classy, and the fingernail-golem we have in the White House now just underlines how much that was true.

That’s true, and shouldn’t be forgotten. If the race had been based on popular vote, she would be president now. But it was still horrible to see her come so close after facing all the horrible misogynistic attacks.

Four years ago, a woman garnered millions more votes in this country.

Our first woman president will be a VP who steps into office because one of these old white men kick off. It’s really depressing that’s where we need to start, but I’m beginning to think there’s no other way.
