What is the point of this save BS? Is Nintendo worried about rampant Animal Crossing cheating or something?

I haven’t played the game in over a year outside of Tavern Brawl once a week but judging from the new set it seems like they are still pushing RNG pretty hard. This whole interview never addresses RNG in a single sentence and even features a new RNG legendary.

The game looks gorgeous but I just can’t justify the purchase price. Even halfway through the demo I was bored playing it. If I’m bored halfway through a 15 minute demo level then it’s just not for me.

I still have the “World Record” in this game thanks to the track ending and not being able to hit the bag further.
