This is kinda annoying for sure. But that’s all it is. Apple wants to protect and control a platform that they 100% own. If they do it in a way that makes it hard to play video games—tough titties.

This game looks fantastic. The combat looks amazing and the game looks like it has some fun aethstics and exploration based rewards. Count me in.
What’s worse is they gave the big middle finger to every single one of their left-handed fans by mirroring the entire game world in order to make Link right-handed, as if the motion controls are precise enough in Twilight Princess for that to be more immersive for right-handed people. It really annoyed my nephews…
That’s why I never finished Twilight Princess - the actual combat was fun, but my arm got tired cutting grass to top off my lantern oil and bag some rupees and I just threw in the towel then and there.
Apple does have a monopoly on the distribution of iOS apps and that does meet the definition.
Imagine if Microsoft said right now that they only way to add software to

Darth Maul as a playable character got me to buy my first ever Tony Hawk game. It happened to be my last ever, as well, but it was fun while it lasted.
