Home prices are definitely a lot lower in this area than the larger cities. If I moved closer to Milwaukee the home prices go up quite a bit for pretty much the same thing. I actually sort of went a different route. While I’m currently pretty strapped with my cash flow with all the loans I’m paying back, I was able to

I buy so much wine at Costco its crazy. A lot of their wine I price checked against local liquor stores and it usually a few dollars a bottle less. Great deal.

Interesting. So you use them like an extended display?

Wow this looks like a really awesome workspace. 4 ipads? Really? lol.

Lets see...the average home purchase price near me at around 180,000, 20 percent down, that’s 36,000 I need to save. Currently saving $50 a month, I should have enough in savings by the time I’m dead. Yay! I seriously need to pay off my car, student loans, and other debt first then maybe I’ll have more to contribute

I never knew this before, thanks for pointing out this one simple toggle I never saw in settings before! lol, okay I’m pretty new to IOS so that’s probably why. I have all my contacts synced with Gmail when I had Android, and used the Move to IOS app when I got my 6S a couple weeks ago. I’ve just always used the

The newest versions of Google’s IOS apps are the main reason why I was able to finally move off of Android and onto an iPhone after so long. After having 3 different Android phones, my last experience with Samsung was just so meh, that I decided to try an IOS device finally. Granted, I have an Ipad and I use that once

Until that expires...Then I’m stuck with 5 + 1 GB from referrals.

Well this kinda sucks! With that camera roll bonus, and referral bonuses, and a “bing” bonus valid through 2017, I’m currently at 130GB of free storage! I switched over from Dropbox because I have so much more free storage than I used to. Granted, I’m only using about 10GB, so I’m not in a terrible situation, but I

Looks like a 90’s era Neon. Except for the convertible aspect and the wheels, it was very 90’s Dodge. You know what I mean by that. Having said that I still thought this was such a cool car when I was younger.

Best advice I’ve ever read on the internet. I go with plausible deniability. Many years ago a coworker of mine created the term cube dusting. Walking past everyone’s cubicles. I do this in stride. The worst part is when I’m standing in an empty room or an empty hallway, and someone sees me and decides to have a chat.

Once again, my favorite week here at Lifehacker! I’ll be reading here all week. Thanks for sharing this wonderful content.

lol yeah I know it wasn’t specifically targeted to Hangouts in particular, or that it is a bad product. I ask because I’ve been using it for years, and lately, I’ve noticed that not all of my messages go through all the time, and sometimes they are delayed. Especially since they added support for SMS through Google

Google has always confused the hell out of me, and I’m usually pretty on top of the gadget and tech world. Eventually I have to just give up trying to decipher everything. It’s all sort of a blur anyway.

Why the hate for Hangouts? Everyone I know that I care about talking to is on Google Hangouts. I use it all day every day. What other chat platforms should I be using? Thanks to the growth of Android, everyone with an Android phone now has access to it. I have yet to find a better alternative multi-platform messaging

I’ll try that out, thanks! I usually don’t have more than one 1080p stream going at once so that part shouldn’t be a problem at least.

lol this sort of looks like what I have going. I have 3 hard drives for media spread out on this one desktop totally probably 3 TB of media separate from the ssd, and the system drive is just the solid state drive. I wonder if performance would be affected by moving the Plex install location off to another drive with

Interesting, I have the same problem. I like how it organizes my TV shows by season, but sometimes it will take some episodes and put them into a folder for a season that doesn’t exist. For example, my kid’s favorite TV show has only 4 seasons, but it has folders for seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, and 20. Odd.

Interesting. I’ll have to pay attention to what it is playing back next time it crashes. I have a mix of MP4 and MKV depending on what type of content it is.

It only crashes when playing back a file for me as well. The Plex Media server app completely crashes and stops running. The icon in the system tray just disappears, then I can’t find the PMS on the network either on my Plex app on my phone or shown in the DLNA server list on my TV. It’s running on an Intel quad core
