I found out that the temporary files in the app data folder for Plex created 20GB of temp files for transcoding! Is this normal? That explains why it may have crashed, it filled up my 120GB SSD system drive.

As much as I love the design and layout of Plex on my smart TV app and on my phone, the server side of things really needs to be fixed. For some reason Plex randomly crashes several times a day, anywhere from 20 minutes of playback to after a couple of hours, it will just randomly crash. I’m running the Windows Plex…
Been there, done that, still digging myself out. I sadly know the struggles you had to deal with. I made the decision to pursue a career that required a technical degree, so I ended up working full time while also taking classes. I ended up dropping out with a year left of classes because I just didn’t have time to go…
I’ve heard the same thing about sound stage as well. Physical limitations of space and all that... Must be part of the reason why some people love the Grado’s so much. I never cared for them personally after trying them out. Might have to find someone with the Audio Technica’s. Never been to one of those HeadFi…
I’ve also heard great things about the AKG line. Sounds like you have tried a lot of different headphones. What do you like that has a similarly large soundstage that has a closed-back design? Would love if I could find something that I can use in an office environment that is noise isolating but also a large…
The original MX is the best. Although the gaming mice look awesome, they are not for me. I prefer a more simplistic design when choosing a mouse. I’m a self-diagnosed Logitech fanboy. I have at least 5 different Logitech mice and just as many keyboards. Some are unused sitting in my closet, but I use one on my…
The stuff I always go back to is the regular plain ChapStick brand stuff in a tube with a blue label that has a pink color to it. It’s basically wax and petroleum products. http://www.amazon.com/ChapStick-Mois…
Could be. It was a Samsung device, which we know to not be stock Android.
Pretty sure I’ve already been doing this for years ever since I had my Galaxy S3. Why is this new? It has always been an option in the system settings.
I’ve never heard of this Minipresso before, I just checked out their website. It looks like an awesome idea! Anyone else on here use it before and can comment on it?
Doesn’t matter what carrier I choose, if I click on “pay off the entire phone up front” I get “this question is not applicable based off your previous answer” which can only mean, you already know the answer to the question in the first place. Buy the phone outright! Handy little app though!
“you don’t really need one, yet” ... unless you live in Russia, then yes please get one so you can continue to share all that crazy stuff that goes on in Russia with us on Youtube.
All it’s doing is internal processing to basically add pixels in places it thinks they should be, the native content needs to be 4k in order to actually see the real benefit of 4k. 1080p content scaled up is still 1080p, and not every tv does the upsampling properly.
I literally just got a new 4k tv yesterday! So that’s great to know that I shouldn’t even worry about the benefits of having it lol. I just figured this way I’ll be sort of future-proofed for content coming out in the next few years that will all be 4k I’ll be able to take full advantage of it. My couch is about 9…
Sounds great in theory, but how does it work on a large yard, say 1/3rd acre lot? How big is your yard?
I do the same thing. It’s worked great for me for all these years. I swear by Seafoam. Most other additives are snake oil though.
Here is my routine that I do to my lawn equipment.
I actually have this exact same label maker in the header picture!
I’ve used these types of label makers before, they are just the best for labeling cables especially!
I have this exact same label maker, it’s great for printing custom barcode labels for asset tracking and if you need to label hundreds of items at a time. I use the heck out of it at the office!
