LOL that much is true, unless you go with the super high end of the Polk line. I just need a better receiver at some point, still using an older Yamaha receiver. It does the job, but I want something with HDMI inputs.

Vote: Paradigm Studio 10 5.1 speaker set. I have an older version of these speakers and can personally vouch for how good they are. They are incredibly small for the quality that they produce. Even in a fairly large living room these sound awesome. I have had them for several years and they have never let me down.

My car reading had an external temp reading of -16 today here in WI. My phone on the other hand was telling me it was -23 with a -40 windchill. Either way you look at it, it still sucks.

I think I've tried almost 80 percent of the steak cooking techniques mentioned around here. I have come to incorporate several techniques into my own cooking while doing away with others that don't work. Here is what works for me.

FYI tire cables/tire chains are illegal for use on public roads in WI.

As long as you don't get caught in a snowstorm in WI and stick to the main roads, everything is usually cleared pretty well and well salted. Just don't have summer track tires and you should be fine. If you do, wait for the roads to clear before continuing or get some cheap all seasons at the very least. I don't know

Brother makes a USB label printer part of the P-Touch line I believe. I have one and it works pretty well. You can easily print massive amount of labels from Excel and it will auto cut the labels for you. Pretty awesome.

It is a small plant, maybe 3 feet tall. I put it in the largest pot I could find. As long as you keep it by a window, and supplement with a grow light, it will stay alive in the winter months. But when it is outside in the summer time it really thrives!

Just add a bit of vodka and that should neutralize the pesticides, right? Am I right in thinking that? Oh yeah, you add the vodka for other reasons too I suppose. On a side note, I live in WI and I actually have a small lemon tree that I keep outdoors in the summer and keep it alive during the winter months indoors

lol yeah I guess everyone is completely different when it comes to sleep that's for sure. We have a king size bed already but it's pretty full already with two dogs! They are my fur babies I guess you could say.

This article could not have come at a more opportune time. Just had my first kid less than 2 weeks ago. Definitely taking this to heart and sharing it. Thanks for the info!

Wisconsin winters suck. I use a lot of moisturizer, I keep a small bottle on me at all times. I also wear gloves when I'm outside. Protecting your skin from the wind is important so it doesn't suck the moisture out of your skin from evaporative cooling. I use Burts Bees hand salve. I think it's called "Farmers Friend

I have a Galaxy S3 and battery life is pretty good. Off the charger at 6AM, and I still have 30 percent left by the time I charge back up at around 9:30PM. The biggest annoyance for me is the crapware that carriers install. But I suppose that can be fixed by rooting. But seriously, this shouldn't even warrant a root,

I have had to do this before. Even with an awd vehicle, I managed to get stuck in a bout 18 inches of wet snow. Stuck the mats under the tires, turned the traction control off, hit the gas, and I got right out. I would definitely recommend having some cheap rubber floor mats instead of the nice upholstered ones. The

I make coffee using a french press. I make tea using either the french press, or if I am at the office or away from home, I use a Finum brewing basket. It is small and works great to just fill it with tea leaves or coffee grounds, and drop it in a mug to make a single cup.

Wow I need to have my wife start getting me coffee in the shower. That is epic! I already spend about 20 minutes in the shower just pokin around anyway what's another 5 minutes lol.

Might I recommend Meguiers or Mothers brand car care products? I'm in no way affiliated with them but I've been using Meguiers on my car for a while and have had pretty good results. You could spend a ridiculous amount of money on car care products and professional detailing products but I find that these brands are

I've been subscribed to that youtube channel for quite a while already they offer a lot of helpful tips far beyond just that video.

Something tells me you won't be cutting corners a second time :)
