I have hard wood floors throughout the house. The only thing I can do is take a swiffer to it every 2 days. Not a whole lot else I can think of to avoid the pet hair entirely. You could try regular brushing your dog once or twice a week using a brush called a "furminator" google it, they remove a TON of hair.

The Prius is dead on accurate. Glad that was covered.

I can buy a used Gallardo for about 90k. Always wanted a Lambo. That's obtainable right?

VOTE: Dropbox. I have tried a lot of other services, google drive, box, skydrive, I always keep coming back to using Dropbox primarily. I do use Google Drive from time to time though just for storing spreadsheets and word documents. Dropbox auto uploads photos on my phone so it is a true backup of sorts.

WA full of Subaru's sounds about right. If you want to get more regional, pretty much all of WI is full of Pontiac Sunfires. No joke. Except Madison which is all Subaru's and Prius's.

I really really liked Windows 2000 at the time. For its time it was a very stable OS. XP was a great step up but for some reason I just remember Windows 2000 more fondly. Even though I used XP for probably a lot longer. Hard to say really what my favorite Windows version is. I like Windows 7 quite a bit now that I've

These are probably pretty much biased towards my hobbies and interests but here is what I came up with just off the top of my head. Not sure if this is an interest to anyone else though!

If you are looking to save money on home renovations and side projects I have a few suggestions that I thought I might add. I have had pretty good luck going down to the local Home Depot or Menards (Home Depot equivalent of the midwest) to get cut up pieces of lumber discounted. These places will precut lumber and

LOL I love that these poor souls act like they have never seen any car worth more than a 92 Focus roll into their little town. This reminds me of my hometown of Sheboygan, WI. Most expensive car there was my friend's 98 Passat. I grew up in south FL before that so I don't go too crazy when I see an exotic pull up next

I have always left the keyboard feet retracted for as long as I can remember. At work, at home, anywhere I use a desktop keyboard. It just feels more natural to me. I've been doing this for the past 10 years or so. I think someone even brought it up to me once when typing on my keyboard asking why the feet aren't

Aside from all the electrical problems all my VW's have had in years past I would tend to agree that the engines are built to run forever.

As for the most boring car companies on this list, I am glad to see my suggestion of Honda made the cut at least. But Subaru being more boring that a Toyota? Why isn't Toyota on this list? Prius anyone? Even the new base model Impreza is more fun to drive than a beige Prius!

So far everyone has posted pics of vans. This works for obvious reasons, what I want to see is a car mentioned! Like a good 4 door sedan that works! I used to have an old 1994 Pontiac Bonneville. Great car with a front bench seat! This has its obvious benefits for endeavors such as these. I could almost lay down

Toyota. Or maybe Honda. Just a bunch of beigemobile appliances driven by commuters half asleep every day.

Beautiful pictures. That looks like epic roads you were on. I don't know how you keep that car so clean, must not be a lot of bugs out there yet this time of year or something. Just wait til you get to South Dakota. The car will be covered in bugs. Either that or the car wash budget is pretty big.

VOTE: Weber One-Touch Kettle Grill.

Ahhh I still miss my old Nextel bricks! I was using one up until about a year ago! They were about as reliable as an old axe.

LG VX4400. I loved that phone for the time! Originally had it on US Cellular. It was way cooler than a lot of the phones my other friends had. It was so tough, it went through the laundry a couple times and came out just fine.

I have considered making the switch to safety razors but have never taken the plunge. Seems cheap and really effective. I use a combination of electric shavers and cartridge razors right now. I use electric for trimming beard when I let everything grow, and use it for touch ups or getting the bulk of my face done.

I'm going to say 13.3MPG average. And that price for gas is the same as it is here in WI right now. I'm surprised. Last time I was in that area it was a bit more.
