The nice thing about typos is they eventually get fixed. I wish the same could be said about assholes like you.
Typos have been addressed. Maybe next time consider being kinder.
He was only convicted because the video so directly refuted his blatant lies on the police report. Just think of how many times cops got away with (and continue to) murdering civilians because they “remembered” things their way on police reports. Terrible tragedy, but at least there’s a little justice here.
Am I the only one who is sick of Musk apologist fan-bois who can’t critically think about how their hero is actively damaging his company?
How many CEOs continually call someone a pedophile on Twitter? I don’t have Twitter, so I am curious. I don’t agree with all of Musk’s ideas, but he has built several great companies to which one can’t deny that.
If your skin is so thin that you can’t tolerate the existence of people betting against you, or the various restrictions on your behavior imposed by the SEC and by stock exchanges, you shouldn’t be the CEO of a public company. Period.
“I am real and valid”
I hope the judge doesn't approve the settlement unless he steps down as CEO as well.
I remember being triply mad at Singer, for making a mediocre Superman movie, for leaving X3 to make it, and for taking James Marsden/Cyclops along just to play the thankless jilted fiance role.
And his two weaknesses are 1) that he cannot be everywhere, and 2) he really does love Lois Lane, but because of what he is and does, he can never fully express that love.
I have a theory that the X-movies make great scene/character collections a lot more often than they make great movies. X-3 had a lot of characters and a fair amount of decent mutant power scenes, it was just a bad story.
“It’s never as bad as it seems. You’re stronger than you think you are. Trust me.”
I’m glad you mentioned Kelsey Grammar as one of the few good things about X3. It may have seemed a bizarre choice to those who didn’t know the character, but as someone who read a lot of classic X-Men comics when I heard he was cast as Beast I thought “perfect”.
Anyone working on a Superman movie needs to have that panel, nay, that entire sequence from All-Star Superman pinned within line of sight at all times.
adams was an inspired choice snyder just does not know what to do with a strong female character.
This movie gets two things right. That plane rescue sequence and casting Brandon Routh. His turn as Ray Palmer in the Arrowverse shows he has exactly the right amount of “Aw, shucks” type charisma to play the Big Blue Boy Scout but the script and direction of Returns doesn’t let him show that.
The rest of the movie still had some nice grace notes: his flying through town making no noise other than the flapping of his cape (compared to the near-mandatory fwhooshing of other Supermen); his tearing round grabbing plummeters and dealing with the damage from Luthoria before he heads of to confront Lex; the…
No, Man of Steel was Zach Snyder’s Objectivist power fantasy of an asshole who only seems to save people he personally cares about and is fine with dooming his own species to extinction by destroying the Kryptonian Baby Grapes, the only known means to repopulate the species, for no real reason.
Yeah, that plane rescue sequence is still thrilling. Superman just flying through debris, instead of dodging it, was a nice touch. What’s especially agonizing is how early in the film that is, and then it’s almost nothing after that. It never truly soars again. It’s a frustrating experience. I’d been hyped for the…
