It's mainly a music recommendation engine (Audioscrobbler). Build up your library then change to the Recommended or Mix channel and enjoy music you haven't heard before. The social network aspect is pretty useless aside from seeing what they're listening to or what concerts they're attending.

Would be great if I didn't already have Caps-Lock mapped to ESC because of Vim

^blah^hello is a shortcut for !!:s/blah/hello which can be used in conjunction with the history i.e., !301:s/file1/file2 also see [forrst.com]

Canz is becoming internet famous. He must be stopped!

@Tetsuooooooo: It's not being used to describe something not understood. It's being used to describe the incredibly ironic/unnecessary use of a Moleskine (dead trees) wrapped around an incredibly piece of technology that obsoleted the aforementioned a decade ago.

@dtownkid21: It's called Last.FM, it's existed for years. Hell, it even works with iTunes already.

So they ripped off Last.FM's musical social network and reinvented twitter instead of collaborating with the two? Wrap it in a "Revolutionary" and that sounds like a pretty standard Apple product.

I'll go for Last.FM over Pandora any day, on any platform

The 'listen to' is really nice but I can't figure out to change the app it launches as it's defaulting to Last.FM instead of the native app.

I wonder if Canz knows he's on Lifehacker...

@Ryan Nevius: Because a lot of web email clients still blow goats: i.e., Exchange Web, Squirrel, etc. Essentially any work mail network.

As soon as I saw the title I was hoping that comic would be in here

@drewg: the article lists it available for iPhone but there is also a free official Android app

@beekerstudios: you are inane and stupid: Best part is that you can use it to link a linux and windows machine with the same keyboard/mouse, it's just just OS:OS. The day I figured that out was a good day #workspaces
