This would be the perfect compliment to my Motorola Photon. The photon already has the webdock interface, so there's no reason this shouldn't work if they leverage that interface. Add a couple USB ports (for keyboard and mouse) and you're golden.

There is an option to save just the ~ folders on the computer, excluding all system files, and you can build your own backup scripts, I know that. The reason I stay away from time machine is because I have had times where it just doesn't restore correctly.

I know time machine is god when it comes to backups, but for anything that has to do with reinstalls, I suggest SuperDuper. Its less of an archiving solution, but more of a bit by bit cloning solution, almost like norton ghost, except with bootable backups. I love it because if something goes wrong, all i have to do…
